What assurance belongs to those who pray?
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him". 1.John 5:14,15
What exemplary prayer life is recorded of King David, Daniel the Prophet, and Jesus?
David:
"Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice". Psalm 55:17
Daniel:
"Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime". Daniel 6:10
Jesus:
"And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed". Mark 1:35
"And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God". Luke 6:12
What conditions are necessary in order for our Heavenly Father to answer our prayers?
1. Perseverance. "Praying... with all perseverance". Ephesians 6:18
2. Faith. "But let him ask in faith". James 1:6
3. We need to forgive others. "First be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift". Matthew 5:24
4. We should not have unconfessed sin in our lives. "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me". Psalm 66:18
5. We need to keep God's law. "He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination". Proverbs 28:9
6. Pray according to God's will. "If we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us". 1.John 5:14
Respect God's Property,
Especially His Time.
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it". Exodus 20:8-11
Especially His Tithe
"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings... Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it". Malachi 3:8,10
Put Others Before Yourself
Jesus said:
"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets". Matthew 7:12
The Apostle Paul said:
"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others". Philippians 2:3,4
Be Clean in Everything You Do

"Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness". 2.Peter 3:11

"He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure". 1.John 2:6 & 3:3
In Your Body
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" "If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are". "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's". 1.Corinthians 6:19; 3:17; 6:20
"For thou art a holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth. Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing". Deuteronomy 14:2,3
In Your Dress and Adornment
"Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments. And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem". Genesis 35:2,4

Seek The Fellowship Of Believers

Surrender Everything To Christ
"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me". Luke 9:23
"Then answered Peter and said unto Him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?... And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life". Matthew 19:27,29
Share Christ With Others
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with YOU alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen". Matthew 28:19,20
Keep God's Commandments
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city". Revelation 22:14
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil". Ecclesiastes 12:13,14
