What kind of being was Satan?
"Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee". Ezekiel 28:14,15
Note: The "cherub that covereth" is a description of the angel that stood next to the throne of God in heaven (Psalm 80:1). This angel was created perfect and was the most honored of all created beings, until he made himself into a devil by trying to set his own will above the will of God.
What contributed to Satan's fall and rebellion in heaven?
"Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee". Ezekiel 28:17
What was Lucifer's ambition?
"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! What happened in heaven after Satan rebelled?

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him". To whom did Satan turn with deception after he was expelled from heaven?

Why is Satan increasing his efforts to ruin mankind?
